Go wild with our animal-inspired art

Nature is nothing if not varied, and this is what makes it so incredibly special. Just like animals, no two original artworks are the same. As we celebrated National Wildlife Day 2020, it was an honour to present a selection of wildlife-inspired artworks created by Romero Britto, Robert Oxley, Frédéric Daty and Steve Winterburn.

Romero Britto

Romero Britto is known for his charitable work. He supports more than 250 charities, including the Black Jaguar-White Tiger Foundation, an animal rescue centre in Mexico.

Robert Oxley

Robert Oxley is a passionate conservationist and recently worked with the Lions of Windsor Sculpture Trail to raise £2,600 by auctioning off his 3D lion sculpture.

He says: “I love the freedom and brutality of nature, but I don’t like what we as humans are doing to it. My art is a way of exploring and exposing this.”

Steve Winterburn

From tracking gorillas in the mountains of Rwanda to staying with a tiger guru in India, Steve likes to immerse himself in the wilderness. Over the years, he has worked with charities like Care for the Wild International and Project Lion to help with the conservation of big cats.
