Service Update: COVID-19

These are unprecedented times and, like all other responsible businesses, our commitment is to ensuring the wellbeing of our staff, artists and our collectors. We are constantly monitoring developments, and have taken steps in line with government guidelines to safeguard our teams. In this period of transition, we have taken steps to implement social distancing guidelines by reintroducing a reduced Operations team at our head office, as well as a small number of sales and administrative staff working remotely to respond to enquiries.

Q: What happens to my order?

A: Rest assured that, while we will not be able to meet our usual 4 week delivery time frame, your order is safe and unaffected by the current circumstances. We are still producing and delivering customer orders. 

Q: When will normal business resume?

A: We are reviewing the situation on a daily basis and being guided by Government advice to businesses. We will resume operations and open our doors as soon as we feel we are able to do so safely and responsibly.  

Q: How can I contact you?

A: You can reach us by email, leave us a voicemail, or reach us on any of our social media channels. Art doesn’t stop, and neither do we - thank you for your understanding and we look forward to speaking to you.

How long can delivery or artwork take?

For orders of artwork, we advise two to four weeks from placing your order. Many of our pieces are hand made to order just for you here in the UK. We'll always arrange a suitable delivery date with you before dispatching your artwork to ensure it arrives at your convenience.

Books and gift vouchers are delivered within 2-3 working days.

Received a text from Castle?

If you've received a text from Castle about delivery, your order is packed and ready and we will be arranging delivery by DPD on the date provided in the text. If you'd like to re-arrange this day, please give us a call on 0121 655 0019.

Free UK delivery

DPD delivery

We're pleased to offer free UK delivery on all artwork and sculpture orders. In most cases you'll receive your delivery by DPD so you can live track your order while it's en route. You'll receive a one hour window and a range of options if you're not able to be around for delivery.

 

TNT delivery

For larger artworks we may use TNT as an alternative delivery service. For these pieces we're unable to provide a one hour time window for delivery but as with all our deliveries we'll always confirm your availability before sending out your artwork.

 

Personal delivery

In some cases where we're not able to use a courier, typically because the artwork is of too delicate a nature (such as works by Nic Joly) then you'll receive a personal delivery from a member of the Castle team. We'll always call you before arranging a delivery to make sure we can fit round you.

Worldwide delivery

United States delivery

For a limited time only, we are pleased to offer free delivery to the United States, usually $99. The US has recently chosen to impose a 25% duty on prints and lithographs, full information can be found on the US Federal Register.

EU delivery

Delivery within the EU is available for £50, and will usually be passed to your local or national delivery provider once your order has left the UK. We'll provide you with all the tracking information as soon as your order is ready for delivery.

Rest of World delivery

Delivery outside the EU or United States is available for £120, and will usually be passed to your local or national delivery provider once your order has left the UK. We'll provide you with all the tracking information as soon as your order is ready for delivery.

Russia Delivery

Carrier services to Russia require us to deliver only to business addresses, so unfortunately we're unable to deliver to a home address.

Click and collect from gallery

With our galleries temporarily closed as a precautionary measure to safeguard the wellbeing of our teams, we regret that we cannot offer our usual click and collect service at this time. Please contact us for further information, or to discuss your delivery options.

 

Will I pay tax on my order?

Outside the EU

Good news! If you're outside the EU then in most cases we're able to remove the VAT (UK sales tax) from the price from your order. 

You may be liable to pay an import fee, this varies from country to country so you should check your own government website to see what rules apply to you. 

Within the EU

If your artwork is being delivered within the EU, then the price you see is the price you'll pay. We are not able to remove UK sales tax for orders being delivered within the European Union.
