You can almost hear the traffic splashing through the saturated streets in this original oil on aluminium by Paul Kenton. Pedestrians stroll past, umbrella in hand, as the city's lights reflect off the wet tarmac as do the towering buildings above. 

Meandering blends of paint create rippling puddles while lines dripped quickly onto the aluminium emphasise the movement of light. It is Paul's technique of painting onto aluminium that not only captures the electricity of the bustling city but, also reflects the changing light in the room.
