This magical original painting of Hillsborough, North Devon was created as part of the artist's 365 series. He described that 'propped up with my easel at the back of Hillsborough in Ilfracombe, I battled the winds and incoming mist to paint this piece. With the light due to change any second, I painted quickly to record the brightly illuminated sea and land in vibrant colour.'
Back in November 2018, acclaimed landscape artist Paul Kenton set himself the challenge of completing a whole year of daily painting. Painting en plein-air [outdoors] on travels to various cities, landscapes and coastlines, his creativity and connection with the world around him flourished. This highly personal and unique body of work provides insight into the daily inspiring views that stopped the artist in his tracks; and the astonishing collection is now available to purchase for the first time.
