Peter & Jayne Smith return for their show-stopping Spring collection 'SIP'. Nothing short of boozy, the eight new pieces are humorous, puzzling and a little bit saucy. With the spotlight on the Impossimals, every piece focuses on a different bottle, a different message, a different atmosphere.
A humorous set with the always present Impossimals, characteristic of Peter and Jayne Smith’s artwork. This collection is full of contrasting pieces with a wobbly yet dark undertone to it. The different bottles of alcohol take full stage in front of the magnificent dim-lit backgrounds. The funny labels replace the standard ones. On top of the bottle the Impossimal, an animal created by the artists and present in most of their works, is dancing usually with a glass in hand. The detail-oriented artists added subtle but standing out elements such as adding the piece tittle and signature in white. Complex and puzzling, this set of limited editions are a statement piece.
