Whilst Paul Corfield is keeping his well-known and loved surrealism style, in this new Paul Corfield Spring 2024 collection, the artist is adding a modern twist to his dreamlike landscapes. With inspiration drawn from the Scottish highland mountains to Dorset coasts, the new limited-editions artworks have elements of seasonal changes within them, focusing on a deep orange sunset, a misty Greenland, and a majestic mountain scene. Known for his beautifully detailed pieces that create a sense of escapism and freedom, immersing collectors in nostalgia.
Each piece has a dreamlike quality to them created by soft and diffused lighting, with ranges of colours from calming pastels to vibrant colours, which spark a sense of tranquillity and serenity. The colour pallets chosen within this collection create the idea of escapism evoking the feeling of curiosity, wonder and imagination.
Inspired by Paul’s “Highland heather” piece, the artist took us back to the Scottish Highlands with a new exploration of snow-capped mountains and purple heather. The artist used a new technique to paint the mountains which was a result of research in a method of the American impressionists, specifically the Boston School which covers the late 1800s and first few decades of the 1900s.
“I think the confidence to bring the mountains up so close really shows how my techniques with oils have further improved throughout 2023. I'm always striving for a few percent improvement with each painting, never happy, always eager to start the next one and improve a little more.”

For all orders of artwork, we advise delivery of up to four weeks from placing your order. Many of our pieces are handmade to order just for you here in the UK. Books and gift vouchers are delivered within 2-3 working days.

We want you to love your artwork, so we offer a 14-day cooling-off period to view it in your home. If you’re not satisfied, we’ll collect it for free or you can return it to one of our galleries.

Paul has been with our publisher, Washington Green, since 2005, and his timeless, idealistic style proves to be eternally popular. As you may have guessed from his work, home means everything to Paul, He has lived in Dorset all his life, and he has never lived more than ten miles from his favourite painting location of Middle Beach at Studland near Swanage. 'I've probably painted it a hundred times - maybe more!'

Yes, Castle Fine Art is based in the UK, but we ship internationally. All of our international orders are delivered via DHL.
To ensure a secure transit, every artwork is handled with utmost care. We take precautionary measures by using foam around the piece for added safety during transportation, and then the artwork(s) are packaged in double-walled, reinforced cardboard boxes that offer superior protection. All of this ensures that your artwork arrives safely.
Most artwork orders will need to be professionally mounted and framed before being dispatched, so delivery can take up to four weeks from the date you placed your order, but we do strive to deliver your order as soon as we can.
Books and gift cards are delivered within 2-3 working days. Please note, if multiple artworks are purchased within the same order, they may be delivered separately for efficient delivery.
The majority of our originals and limited editions are hand signed by the artist themselves. On some occasions where we have limited edition sculptures, this is hand written into the mould before production. If you're unsure, please contact us.
