Two animated shows from Hanna-Barbera converge in this unique limited edition hand-painted cel. The Atom Ant Show and The Magilla Gorilla Show both originally aired in the 1960s before reruns on the late 1990s and early 2000s. While Atom was a superhero ant who fought crime out of an anthill in the countryside, Magilla was a pet-shop gorilla who spent his days eating bananas in the shop window after he was frequently being returned by customers who needed his help rob banks and other adventures.
Hanna-Barbera Studios Inc. was founded in 1957 by the creators of Tom & Jerry, William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. The studio created some of the most iconic cartoons ever made including: The Flintstones, Yogi Bear, Wacky Races, Scooby-Doo, and many more. This limited edition hand-painted cel pays homage to the original animators' techniques where each still would be hand-drawn and painted onto acetate cels and set against separate painted backgrounds to create a snapshot from an entire scene.

For all orders of artwork, we advise delivery of up to four weeks from placing your order. Many of our pieces are handmade to order just for you here in the UK. Books and gift vouchers are delivered within 2-3 working days.

We want you to love your artwork, so we offer a 14-day cooling-off period to view it in your home. If you’re not satisfied, we’ll collect it for free or you can return it to one of our galleries.

Yes, Castle Fine Art is based in the UK, but we ship internationally. All of our international orders are delivered via DHL.
To ensure a secure transit, every artwork is handled with utmost care. We take precautionary measures by using foam around the piece for added safety during transportation, and then the artwork(s) are packaged in double-walled, reinforced cardboard boxes that offer superior protection. All of this ensures that your artwork arrives safely.
Most artwork orders will need to be professionally mounted and framed before being dispatched, so delivery can take up to four weeks from the date you placed your order, but we do strive to deliver your order as soon as we can.

The majority of our originals and limited editions are hand signed by the artist themselves. On some occasions where we have limited edition sculptures, this is hand written into the mould before production. If you're unsure, please contact us.
