Now on: The Art of Animation in Brighton!
Our Disney Vintage tour kicked off in 2020, and it was so popular with our collectors that we've rebranded the touring exhibition to include works from our Hanna-Barbera collection. Now on display at our Brighton gallery, The Art of Animation gives visitors an extremely special glimpse into the inner workings of Walt Disney's animation team.
We're also sharing the Disney magic with a rare background artist's desk, which is available to view at selected galleries. Created between 1939 and 1940, this original Walt Disney Studios desk was designed by the famed architect Kem Weber. Capturing the Golden Age of Disney, it features seldom-seen details including a drawer containing an original ceramic paintbrush holder and art supplies such as crayons, pastels and metal clips.
