Art Consultation
Showcased as part of his debut collection with Castle Fine Art, ‘All of This and None of That’ is a playful look at the naivety of youth and the reinvention of originality.
We see Boy George at the centre of this piece, surrounded by seven unique figures. But how unique really are they? In this artwork, Boy George reminisces about the people he would see in clubs as a youth, each competing to be the most original. Yet today, Boy George believes nothing is original, except your perspective. A truly freeing realization, he says “almost everything has been done, so do it again”.
Boy George’s extraordinary collection of mixed media original and unique artworks are a sight to behold. Portraying a host of known and unknown icons, they explore themes of identity, reinvention and judgement. A true maximalist, no material is off limits, resulting in visual feasts that pour out of the frame.

The artist
Boy George
Boy George is a pure creative. For him, art is everything.
Influenced by people from his past and present, and visions in nature and architecture, his art is quintessentially Boy George - loud, vivid, punk, iconic. Sometimes representing a specific person, sometimes representing us all, each piece tells a story. A story that we must discover for ourselves.
