Depicting Joshua Tree National Park in California, this piece reflects Dylan’s fascination with untouched landscapes – where nature speaks without interruption.
This portrayal of the Mojave Desert in Joshua Tree reveals its raw, understated beauty. It offers a suspended moment of stillness beneath the fiery sky that seems almost ablaze, providing a dramatic backdrop for the silhouettes of these iconic trees, which are an unmistakeable marker of this specific location in California. As Guardian art critic Johnathan Jones commented in his review of The Beaten Path exhibition in 2016, ‘What really sets his latest show alight, though, is when he expands his sketches into huge paintings in drunken abandon to the power of colour. Purple skies, lurid neons, wet greens and fierce reds – the colours of Dylan’s landscape are subtle, rich, with just a hint of apocalypse.’

For all orders of artwork, we advise delivery of up to four weeks from placing your order. Many of our pieces are handmade to order just for you here in the UK. Books and gift vouchers are delivered within 2-3 working days.

We want you to love your artwork, so we offer a 14-day cooling-off period to view it in your home. If you’re not satisfied, we’ll collect it for free or you can return it to one of our galleries.

Giclée Limited Edition
Derived from the French term gicler, meaning ‘to spray’, the term giclée refers to a refined digital printing process whereby microscopic dots of pigment-based ink are precisely sprayed onto archival-quality paper. This technique ensures that each limited edition graphic stays true to the original artwork. Celebrated for its remarkable richness, accuracy and incredible detail, giclée printing achieves an exceptional depth of colour through a wide colour gamut. By using multiple cartridges of pigmented, archival-quality inks with exceptional fade resistance, this printing method produces vibrant colours, deep blacks, and smooth tonal gradations that are designed to last for up to 200 years.

Yes, Castle Fine Art is based in the UK, but we ship internationally. All of our international orders are delivered via DHL.
To ensure a secure transit, every artwork is handled with utmost care. We take precautionary measures by using foam around the piece for added safety during transportation, and then the artwork(s) are packaged in double-walled, reinforced cardboard boxes that offer superior protection. All of this ensures that your artwork arrives safely.
Most artwork orders will need to be professionally mounted and framed before being dispatched, so delivery can take up to four weeks from the date you placed your order, but we do strive to deliver your order as soon as we can.
Books and gift cards are delivered within 2-3 working days. Please note, if multiple artworks are purchased within the same order, they may be delivered separately for efficient delivery.
The majority of our originals and limited editions are hand signed by the artist themselves. On some occasions where we have limited edition sculptures, this is hand written into the mould before production. If you're unsure, please contact us.
