Following the phenomenal success of ‘I Heard You Say’ in 2025’s Summer, Nic Joly returns with another striking work inspired by a 90’s classic. ‘After All’ is a pocket-sized wall sculpture with meaning, a scene reinforcing a personal and almost secretive nature of emotional retrospection that the song captures.
A vibrant and thought-provoking celebration of a song that defined an era and, personal to the artist, as it soundtracked some of Joly’s most memorable years in his twenties. True to Joly’s signature style, the characteristic figures are scattered around the wall, each going on their everyday life, representing the cultural importance and impact the song has. Nic’s meticulous attention to detail transforms the wall sculpture into a dynamic scene, resulting in a nostalgic yet contemporary artwork that celebrates both personal memory and shared cultural moments.
Mastered over the years, Nic’s mini depictions of life’s joys, trials, and relationships have long enchanted viewers. With the meticulous detail and unfolding narratives, each component reflects his passion for craftsmanship and storytelling, merging technical mastery with emotional depth. In his unique approach, Nic has pushed the boundaries of miniature art. Each component goes through a complex conception through a meticulous process which can involve carving, casting, moulding, sanding and hand-painting, before the painstaking construction of the artwork begins.

For all orders of artwork, we advise delivery of up to four weeks from placing your order. Many of our pieces are handmade to order just for you here in the UK. Books and gift vouchers are delivered within 2-3 working days.
Please note that if multiple artworks are purchased within the same order, they may be delivered separately for efficient delivery.
We want you to love your artwork, so we offer a 14-day cooling-off period to view it in your home. If you’re not satisfied, we’ll collect it for free or you can return it to one of our galleries.
For orders outside of the UK, the same applies - please contact us and we can arrange collection of the artwork.

Miniature Figures
Nic Joly is a true artist and craftsman, whose artistic career was born in a stained glass and metal workshop. Inspired by his own unique style, Joly began to create his tiny figurines. His detailed pieces are full of hand-crafted mini people in an extraordinarily detailed background, which are all made in Nic’s studio in Hampshire.

In 2024, we celebrated Nic Joly's tenth anniversary with Castle Fine Art and remembered the intricate details tell stories of moments lived, emotions felt, and a journey embarked upon. As Nic reflects on the last decade and his past creations, the spirit of experimentation and the passion for self-expression is a reminder that Nic's artwork is an extension of him and the thoughtful, considered miniature works he creates. Nic's 2024 collection,The Next Chapter, references Nic's evolving creative journey with his progressive techniques, unexplored themes, and sentiments yet to be unravelled and miniaturised. With renewed determination, Nic is ready to embark on The Next Chapter of his artistic journey.

Yes, Castle Fine Art is based in the UK, but we ship internationally. All of our international orders are delivered via DHL.
To ensure a secure transit, every artwork is handled with utmost care. We take precautionary measures by using foam around the piece for added safety during transportation, and then the artwork(s) are packaged in double-walled, reinforced cardboard boxes that offer superior protection. All of this ensures that your artwork arrives safely.
Most artwork orders will need to be professionally mounted and framed before being dispatched, so delivery can take up to four weeks from the date you placed your order, but we do strive to deliver your order as soon as we can.
Books and gift cards are delivered within 2-3 working days. Please note, if multiple artworks are purchased within the same order, they may be delivered separately for efficient delivery.
The majority of our originals and limited editions are hand signed by the artist themselves. On some occasions where we have limited edition sculptures, this is hand written into the mould before production. If you're unsure, please contact us.
