Our Stamford gallery is situated in this beautiful old town on the border of Lincolnshire in the vale of the River Welland. Boasting five tall medieval church spires, Stamford has over 1000 years of history and was declared England’s first ever conservation area. It is famed for its Georgian architecture, which means that many movies and TV series have been filmed here, including The Da Vinci Code, the BBC's Middlemarch and the 2004 film of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice.
Easily accessible from the A1, or by train from Peterborough, exhibiting collections from local, national and international artists. You will find the gallery a stone's throw from the local arts centre which was originally built in 1768, and well worth a visit for anyone visiting the 16th century Burghley House on the edge of town. We look forward to seeing you and introducing you to our art.
