Taking its title from The Lion King, Roxy’s debut suite of three sculptures is a stylised representation of the animals which inspired her as a young girl. Creating all of her bronze sculptures at the family foundry, Roxy spends her days sculpting, making lost-wax casts, welding and chasing (a method of hammering the bronze). As she creates her own patinas, the finish of each sculpture is slightly unique. See the full Circle of Life collection over on our blog.
Roxy adds: “Animals are there for you no matter what. There is always a love there from both sides. I would love people to feel a connection to the characters I have created. I want people to see them and want to give them a loving home.”
