As an artist and photographer, Raphael has created iconic imagery for the likes of Ralph Lauren, Vogue and Vanity Fair. His visual narrative captures the human form against a backdrop of startling landscapes that span the continents, from Icelandic glaciers to African wildlife.

This photograph was taken using an old Nikon F2 camera in Vancouver, Canada, while Raphael was experimenting with film development. He adds: "The word silence was brought into this piece as I felt this throughout the whole photoshoot, and it makes me identify with a life journey that has been incased in time."
