Released as part of Bob Dylan’s 2024 The Beaten Path collection and exclusively to Castle Fine Art, ‘Hamburger KuKu’ captures the recognisable motifs of Dylan’s work with mesmerising detail and a beautiful contrasting colour palette.
Exploring the American landscape, The Beaten Path depicts the essence of an often-ignored America in the drive-ins, roadside stores and kerbside buskers that fill the landscape between the country's coasts.
In this latest chapter in Dylan's visual chronicle of United States scenery, we see more of residential American living. People walking on tree-lined streets, musicians playing music outside a suburban home; this carefully curated collection of artwork offers a new perspective from Dylan in his unfolding portrait of America.
In his own words, the collection captures America “how you see it while crisscrossing the land and see it for what it's worth. Staying out of the mainstream and traveling the back roads, free born style”.
Hand-signed by Bob Dylan himself, each artwork illustrates the artistic icon’s visions of travelling across the USA, finding beauty in the overlooked locations that form the backdrop of daily life for most Americans.
This instalment of The Beaten Path is presented in four standard size graphics and one larger size. Each are available individually, as a set of four standard size or the complete set of five.

Giclée on Paper Limited Edition
Derived from the French term gicler – meaning ‘to squirt or spray’, the term describes a printing process whereby microscopic dots of pigment-based ink are sprayed onto archival-quality paper. It is believed that a giclée will significantly outlast a lithographic print, keeping its vivid colour for up to 200 years.
