To celebrate Scarlett’s 10-year anniversary with Castle Fine Art, you are invited to be amongst the first to see the new artworks.

Scarlett Raven is widely celebrated for her expressive colour palettes, bold textures, and immersive landscapes. However, in 2024 Beyond The Surface, released in the aid of charity Mind, marked a dramatic and poignant shift. Created during one of the most challenging periods in her life, these all-white floral compositions strip away colour to reveal in texture the artist’s raw emotion, vulnerability, and resilience. Each piece is a testament to the power of creativity in overcoming adversity, offering viewers an intimate glimpse into Scarlett’s world.

Her signature ‘impasto’ technique—where thick layers of paint are applied directly from the tube—creates an almost sculptural quality, making each work not only visually striking but also deeply tactile allowing the viewer to see and feel the physical texture of the paint. Inspired by Vincent van Gogh, Gustav Klimt, and David Hockney, Scarlett has spent over a decade refining her craft.

An alumnus of the prestigious Central St Martins and one of the youngest painters to hold a solo exhibition at the renowned Cork Street Gallery, Scarlett has earned significant acclaim from The Tate, Frieze, BBC News, The Times, and collectors such as Keith Richards, Orlando Bloom, and Jim Beach (manager of rock band Queen).
