We are honoured to welcome pop art icon James Francis Gill to the UK for a rare celebration of his landmark series Women in Water.

First conceived in the 1960s, this body of work reflects Gill’s enduring fascination with the female form – not as subject alone, but as an emotional presence. Each painting is a suspended moment, charged with mystery and resonance, inviting the viewer to reflect on what is seen, felt, or longed for. Among the rarest works in the series are portraits of muses drawn from the artist’s own life, imbuing the collection with a personal and timeless intimacy.

This series of private events will offer audiences the opportunity to experience newly released limited editions, alongside original studies and canvases never before shown in the UK. Collectors acquiring an original will also receive a personal dedication from the artist and a complimentary 450-page hard-back coffee table book chronicling the story of Women in Water.

A specially commissioned short film will also accompany the presentation, offering a deeper glimpse into Gill’s legacy.
