(Ex VAT)

Marvel Superhero unique print hand-signed by the late great John Romita Sr.

Published in 1963, “Amazing Spider-Man #86” is a Marvel Superhero unique edition of the issue’s cover, hand-signed by John Romita Sr. Spider-Man first appeared in Marvel comic books in August 1962, in Amazing Fantasy #15 in the Silver Age of Comic Books.

Created by Stan Lee, Peter Parker, a shy teenager that gains spider-like abilities after being bitten by a genetically modified spider which he uses to fight his enemies and injustice. Since the initial appearance, Marvel has featured the superhero in several comic book series, the longest being The Amazing Spider-Man, and a series of movies as well.

American comic book artist, the late great John Romita Sr., is known not only for his realistic, naturalist and fluid art style but also for his work on Marvel Comics including The Amazing Spider-Man and for co-creating iconic characters including Wolverine, Mary Jane Watson, and Luke Cage. Having heavily influenced the iconic look of Marvel comics we adore today, Romita was later promoted as Marvel’s art director and later inducted in the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame in 2002 and the Inkwell Awards Joe Sinnott Hall of Fame in 2020.

Over 25 years of fantastic art

In 1995, we opened our first-ever gallery in Stratford-upon-Avon. With just one goal in mind - to make our art accessible to all - our fledgling company began to spread its roots.

Craftsmanship and Quality

Every piece of art is mounted, glazed or framed by hand, with our bespoke framing service selected by our creative department.

Built to last

Our foundations are built on a passion for art, and many of our staff (and collectors!) have been with us from the very beginning.

Speak to a consultant

Our dedicated team of art consultants is on hand to offer you tailored advice.
