Behind the scenes with Marvel legend Stan Lee

In collaboration with noted artists - including Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko - Stan Lee co-created many of the characters we know and love today. From the X-Men to the Fantastic Four, Silver Surfer and Iron Man, his Marvel Revolution extended beyond the characters and storylines to engage with the audience and create a community between the readers and creators. 

In an interview with the Radio Times, he said: "It's always great when people come up to me and mention how much they like the characters I've created.It's a great feeling to hear that." 

True to his reputation for taking time out for fans, we were delighted to get a sneak peek of Stan signing a selection of our fantastic Marvel art for collectors. Following his tragic passing in November 2018, these images are are a touching reminder of his own superhero powers for inspiring those around him.
