Often painting outside in order to get ‘a true feeling of a certain place’, Paul Kenton visited Chamonix in France where he was captivated by the light and beauty of Mount Blanc (the tallest mountain in the Alps). Inspired, Paul used dramatic shadows contrasted by pale blue to convey space and distance in this monumental original painting on aluminium.
The luminosity of the metal shines through, creating the effect of sun bouncing off the gossamer snow. This unique texture, coupled with its incredible size, can bring any large space to life. Discover more of Paul Kenton’s monumental artworks here or shop his full collection here.
