Evoking a feeling of Christmas magic, this charming scene combines elements from two of Paul’s earlier, sold-out paintings, ‘It’s Cold Outside’ and ‘Beneath the Light of the Moon’. This included reimagining the old stone cottage, sea and moonlight while creating a new scene in a different size format.
The popular landscape artist added additional sparkle to the snow, capturing a beautiful winter night in a quiet forest. Blue hues, which were originally created in oil paints, are elevated by the silver-toned frame. Paul adds: “It is a marriage of ideas that worked really well.”
