Originally aired on 3rd October 1970, 'Jeepers It's The Creeper' was then the twentieth episode ever of Scooby-Doo and saw the gang solve a mystery of a zombie-like figure who had been terrorising school dances and robbing banks. Featuring only six actors who between them voiced over 12 parts, this episode also had one of the show's earliest iconic villains who can be seen in this limited edition hand-painted cel hand-signed by the studio's own Joseph Barbera and Bob Singer.
Famed character designer, background artist, and storyboard director Bob Singer worked on some of Hanna-Barbera's most iconic productions including: The Flintstones, Scooby-Doo, The Jetsons, Tom & Jerry, among others. This limited edition hand-painted cel pays homage to the original animators' techniques where each still would be hand-drawn and painted onto acetate cels and set against separate painted backgrounds to create a snapshot from an entire scene.
Framed in glass and charcoal pine and spruce wood, this remarkable artwork forms part of our second Hanna-Barbera collection which you can shop here.
