American brothers Jeffrey and Michael Bisaillon combine their talents to create “uber-contemporary” works inspired by Pop Art.
Influenced by artists like Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat, the duo explore the pop culture of today and the mid-20th century. Their work incorporates a range of mediums, including canvas, wood, paint, pen, resin, spray paint, digital imagery and even building materials.
Michael says: “For this one, we really tried to emphasise the LONDON aspect. Gordon’s is the world’s best-selling London dry gin, and has been the UK’s number one gin since the late 19th century. The words ‘Published by Authority’ appear in the Edinburgh Gazette from 1804.”
