This timed limited edition, entitled One Rule contains two bronze figures and a scorched oak cube, all handmade in Nic’s studio.
Upon opening this artwork, Nic has set his collectors one rule. They have one year to give one of the figures away…
This could mean giving it to the world and sitting it in their favourite place, giving it to someone who means something to them or placing it on the grave of a loved one. It does not matter; they just have to let one figure go with an act of kindness. When they have done this Nic would love to hear their story about the figures journey. There will be a QR code in the box for clients to scan which will enable them to share their story with Nic and become a part of the One Rule installation, so they will be a part of the artwork.

For all orders of artwork, we advise delivery of up to four weeks from placing your order. Many of our pieces are handmade to order just for you here in the UK. Books and gift vouchers are delivered within 2-3 working days.
Please note that if multiple artworks are purchased within the same order, they may be delivered separately for efficient delivery.
We want you to love your artwork, so we offer a 14-day cooling-off period to view it in your home. If you’re not satisfied, we’ll collect it for free or you can return it to one of our galleries.

In 2024, we celebrated Nic Joly's tenth anniversary with Castle Fine Art and remembered the intricate details tell stories of moments lived, emotions felt, and a journey embarked upon. As Nic reflects on the last decade and his past creations, the spirit of experimentation and the passion for self-expression is a reminder that Nic's artwork is an extension of him and the thoughtful, considered miniature works he creates. Nic's 2024 collection,The Next Chapter, references Nic's evolving creative journey with his progressive techniques, unexplored themes, and sentiments yet to be unravelled and miniaturised. Yes, Castle Fine Art is based in the UK, but we ship internationally. All of our international orders are delivered via DHL.
To ensure a secure transit, every artwork is handled with utmost care. We take precautionary measures by using foam around the piece for added safety during transportation, and then the artwork(s) are packaged in double-walled, reinforced cardboard boxes that offer superior protection. All of this ensures that your artwork arrives safely.
Most artwork orders will need to be professionally mounted and framed before being dispatched, so delivery can take up to four weeks from the date you placed your order, but we do strive to deliver your order as soon as we can.
Books and gift cards are delivered within 2-3 working days. Please note, if multiple artworks are purchased within the same order, they may be delivered separately for efficient delivery.
The majority of our originals and limited editions are hand signed by the artist themselves. On some occasions where we have limited edition sculptures, this is hand written into the mould before production. If you're unsure, please contact us.
