A handmade 3D wall sculpture by Nic Joly.
This studio edition artwork features Nic Joly's infectious positivity. The 'be kind' message on the wall is particularly poignant during the COVID-19 pandemic, as millions of people around the world have been inspired to commit acts of kindness, often for complete strangers.
All of Nic's figures are carved as originals in wire and plaster before being cast in solid bronze. When dry, they are sanded down (either with a belt sander or a teeny-tiny strip of sandpaper) and cleaned before being hand-painted. Find out more here.
Nic says: "With the sadness and troubled times we live in at the moment, two words have come out of the dark and shone a positive light: be kind. If we all lived by them, all of us would smile a whole heap more."
