From the Adventures of Luke Starkiller | 2025
Castle Fine Art is proud to present From the Adventures of Luke Starkiller, a world-exclusive collection of original art by the prestigious pencil artist, Robert Bailey. In this collection, Bailey has exquisitely illustrated scenes from 1977’s ‘Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope’ and placed them alongside original script pages from the film.
The script featured in the collection originally belonged to English actor and mime artist, Anthony Daniels, best known for playing the loyal protocol droid C-3PO in the Star Wars saga. This follows Bailey’s previous collection The Empire Strikes Back – Part Two, where he paired artwork and script pages from ‘Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back’ (1980).

The artist
Robert Bailey
Pencil artist Robert delights fans across the globe with his amazingly detailed Star Wars drawings and commissions of scenes from classic films. Even George Lucas has added them to his collection! Collectors of his Star Wars pieces include Harrison Ford, John Travolta, Tom Cruise, and the late Carrie Fisher. Robert's art uses a method called hatching, whereby his closely-drawn parallel lines imply shade, tone and texture. The distance between the hatching marks determine how light or dark that area appears. Robert says about his art: 'Only by practice can the dexterity of fine pencil work be kept up."
