Speaking of her paintings, she says each one is a learning experience; this collection shows a devotion to examining how trees grow and interact in their environment.

Scarlett says: “I’ve always seen nature as reality and raw truth. I feel more secure in nature than with people, which is why I so often use it to inspire my paintings.”
