Hand-signed by the global musician and artist himself, this incredible architectural drawing by Ronnie Wood portrays the Gateway of India in Mumbai, erected during the early 20th century for King George V and Queen Mary. Skilful in its rendering of architectural forms, it also boasts vibrant touches of colours mounted and framed on the original sketchpad paper.
Ronnie's love affair with art actually predates his rock career, dropping out of Ealing Art College to join the band The Birds in 1964. Even during his legendary career as guitarist for The Rolling Stones after 1976, Ronnie continued to create artworks and he made many sketches while touring the world with the band.
