This set of two signed limited edition graphics were the first of their kind ever to be reproduced from original Bob Dylan artworks. Before the coveted releases of Mondo Scripto, The Beaten Path and The Asia Series, these unique pieces were created from two original sketches by the artist and became the basis of the world-famous and celebrated The Drawn Blank Series. Their smaller edition size and floated edge presentation provide a distinction from the wider series, which is now a global fine art publishing programme without rival.
On adding new colour and texture to his originally monochromatic sketches, Bob Dylan wrote: "every picture spoke a different language to me as the various colours were applied". This is emblematic of The Drawn Blank Series where Dylan has continued to revisit drawings that he made while on tour in the late 1980s and early 1990s, transforming each one with new colours and textures like the songs he continues to perform.

These include an Academy Award for his song 'Things Have Changed', along with 10 Grammy Awards and a Special Citation Pulitzer Prize for his 'profound impact on popular music and American culture'. Further accolades include France's prestigious appointment of Chevalier de la Légion d'honneur, a Kennedy Center Honor, the Presidential Medal of Freedom and the Nobel Prize in Literature for "having created new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition'.

Yes, Castle Fine Art is based in the UK, but we ship internationally. All of our international orders are delivered via DHL.
To ensure a secure transit, every artwork is handled with utmost care. We take precautionary measures by using foam around the piece for added safety during transportation, and then the artwork(s) are packaged in double-walled, reinforced cardboard boxes that offer superior protection. All of this ensures that your artwork arrives safely.
Most artwork orders will need to be professionally mounted and framed before being dispatched, so delivery can take up to four weeks from the date you placed your order, but we do strive to deliver your order as soon as we can.
Books and gift cards are delivered within 2-3 working days. Please note, if multiple artworks are purchased within the same order, they may be delivered separately for efficient delivery.
The majority of our originals and limited editions are hand signed by the artist themselves. On some occasions where we have limited edition sculptures, this is hand written into the mould before production. If you're unsure, please contact us.
