Monumental art has moved audiences for thousands of years, conveying powerful emotions and depicting incredible stories and awe-inspiring forces of nature. In the breath-taking bodies of original work, the internationally acclaimed artist has painted on a larger scale than ever before, from majestic seascapes and calming landscapes to electric cityscapes.
Much like the unpredictability of the big cities, Paul Kenton creates his monumental artworks with a spontaneous energy and fluidity that allows him to mimic the primal beauty of London. Rather than a still moment in time, Kenton tries to capture a sequence of movements in his cityscapes. As a focal point of the dynamic capital, St. Paul is one of the most iconic buildings in London.
This incredible mixed media original is simultaneously full of colour and darkness. Using sharp, small, and colourful accents, the artist has brought London to life, capturing the majestic city of London illuminated by glowing lights in a myriad of colours. An energetic kaleidoscope of colour, light and movement, this piece’s ability to make a statement is unmatched, allowing collectors to have a hypnotising escape in their house.
This original is a Mixed Media on Canvas - a combination of oil and acrylic.

Paul Kenton
Paul Kenton is a UK-based contemporary artist, acclaimed for his cityscape paintings which capture the unique energy of cities across the world. Paul's paintings aim to transport the viewer, giving them a sense of the distinctive mood, pace and light of a scene, through layers of bold colour, dripped lines and gestural paint marks. Kenton is constantly exploring new ideas for paintings in his sketchbook, painting en plein air, drawing not only from cityscapes, but also from his fascination with motorsport, the sea and pop culture.
