Presented on luxury fine grain boxed canvas, this otherworldly artwork by Nigel Humphries captures one of the more recent characters from the Star Wars saga! The Mandalorian stands ready to defend Grogu as he and his Razor Crest ship are represented just behind him in this fantastic scene. On creating this piece the artist noted: 'I felt I just had to include the Mandalorian in this release as he is a fantastic character. I decided to portray him alongside Grogu to show his guardianship of him which is fundamental to the story.'
This iconic piece is part of his 2022 collection, Episode II, which is a continuation of his highly coveted 2021 release A New Hope. Here, Nigel continues to explore beloved characters from the world-famous Star Wars saga and experiment with different compositions and layouts. In particular, the artist has traversed the galaxy to paint some of the smaller characters from the franchise who, in his words, 'have gone on to be main characters in their own right'; such as the Mandalorian.
Due to the popularity of his work and their bold shape and size, this highly unique release by Nigel Humphries is the first to be available in a range of compositions. Yes, Castle Fine Art is based in the UK, but we ship internationally. All of our international orders are delivered via DHL.
To ensure a secure transit, every artwork is handled with utmost care. We take precautionary measures by using foam around the piece for added safety during transportation, and then the artwork(s) are packaged in double-walled, reinforced cardboard boxes that offer superior protection. All of this ensures that your artwork arrives safely.
Most artwork orders will need to be professionally mounted and framed before being dispatched, so delivery can take up to four weeks from the date you placed your order, but we do strive to deliver your order as soon as we can.
Books and gift cards are delivered within 2-3 working days. Please note, if multiple artworks are purchased within the same order, they may be delivered separately for efficient delivery.
The majority of our originals and limited editions are hand signed by the artist themselves. On some occasions where we have limited edition sculptures, this is hand written into the mould before production. If you're unsure, please contact us.
