Bringing to life the inspirational words Dream Big, 'Life's Secret' is an invitation to always pursue our dreams and embrace the limitless potential within us.
In bold big lettering, the words are placed among Nic's iconic miniature figures, all of whom are holding colourful ballons, as if to lift the text into the sky. Conveying the sentiment that dreaming is the first step towards achieving greatness and that dreams are made possible with imagination and determination; the artwork’s composition captures a sense of optimism and movement.
Nic's figurines add a sense of playfulness to the limited edition but illustrate the idea of dreaming as a collective experience – something which includes individual ambition but also support and encouragement from others.
Bursting with vibrant colour, the balloons symbolize the limitless potential and boundless possibilities– each hue symbolizing something unique about life, from creativity and hope to passion and imagination.
This is one of Nic's personal favourites because it resonates with his love of bright aesthetics with a heartfelt meaning.

For this special collection, Joly has created two different editions for each title which not only vary in size, but have different edition sizes: the Collector's edition, a larger artwork with an edition number of 50 and featuring more of his iconic figurines, while the Conceptual edition is smaller in size and edition number of 190.

All our artwork is made to order in Birmingham, UK, ensuring top quality. Please allow up to four weeks for delivery. Each piece is carefully crafted to meet our high standards.
If you order multiple artworks, they may arrive separately for efficiency.
Returns
We offer a 14-day cooling-off period so you can view the artwork in your home. If it's not right for you, we’ll collect it free of charge or you can return it to one of our galleries.

For this special collection, Joly has created two different editions for each title which not only vary in size, but have different edition sizes: the Collector's edition, a larger artwork with an edition number of 100 and featuring more of his iconic figurines, while the Conceptual edition is smaller in size and edition number of 295.

Miniature Figures
Nic Joly is a true artist and craftsman, whose artistic career was born in a stained glass and metal workshop. Inspired by his own unique style Joly began to create his tiny figurines. His detailed pieces are full of hand-crafted mini people in an extraordinarily detailed background, which are all made in Nic’s studio in Hampshire.

What began as Nic Joly's hobby has transformed into a passion for sculpting minute depictions of everyday life. The British artist's 3D wall sculptures tackle topics like love, sex, mental health and war in a touching and humorous way.
In 2024, we celebrated Nic Joly's tenth anniversary with Castle Fine Art and remembered the intricate details tell stories of moments lived, emotions felt, and a journey embarked upon. As Nic reflects on the last decade and his past creations, the spirit of experimentation and the passion for self-expression is a reminder that Nic's artwork is an extension of him and the thoughtful, considered miniature works he creates. Nic's 2024 collection,The Next Chapter, references Nic's evolving creative journey with his progressive techniques, unexplored themes, and sentiments yet to be unravelled and miniaturised. With renewed determination, Nic is ready to embark on The Next Chapter of his artistic journey.

Yes, Castle Fine Art is based in the UK, but we ship internationally. All of our international orders are delivered via DHL.
To ensure a secure transit, every artwork is handled with utmost care. We take precautionary measures by using foam around the piece for added safety during transportation, and then the artwork(s) are packaged in double-walled, reinforced cardboard boxes that offer superior protection. All of this ensures that your artwork arrives safely.
Most artwork orders will need to be professionally mounted and framed before being dispatched, so delivery can take up to four weeks from the date you placed your order, but we do strive to deliver your order as soon as we can.
Books and gift cards are delivered within 2-3 working days. Please note, if multiple artworks are purchased within the same order, they may be delivered separately for efficient delivery.
The majority of our originals and limited editions are hand signed by the artist themselves. On some occasions where we have limited edition sculptures, this is hand written into the mould before production. If you're unsure, please contact us.
