We are delighted to announce the latest limited edition piece from nostalgic Impressionist painter Bob Barker. ‘Across The Cut’ is a testament to Bob’s unwavering commitment to capturing his surroundings.
Inspired by a visit to the Black Country Living Museum in Dudley, Bob found himself transported back to the cobblestone streets and familiar sights of his youth. It was amidst this backdrop of industrial heritage that the scene for ‘Across The Cut’ revealed itself - a moment of serenity amidst the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Inspired by the Yorkshire mill towns that shaped his youth, Bob is known for his 'Northern Impressionism' style. Depicting touching childhood, family and romantic scenes, his nostalgic artworks feature a neutral palette of greys and browns with splashes of vibrant colour and a unique inner glow created by the manipulation of light and shadow.
