Fresh from his debut UK tour, Billy Schenck has graced the pages of the bestselling men’s magazine, GQ. And all just in time for the release of his stunning new collection, The New West, which is now available online and in galleries nationwide.
Senior commissioning editor Charlie Burton was wowed by the work, describing it as ‘an implosion of Navajo culture, modern cowgirls, apocalyptic imagery and Greek mythology’. Ohio-born Billy, who is credited as the founder of the ‘Western Pop Art’ movement, revealed: “There literally is no end to the myth of the American West.”
