This incredibly detailed yet minimalist artwork from Paul Kenton's 365 series was 'sketched from a cable car in Barcelona, with pens and a touch of gouache.' The artist also noted that 'with limited time on the tram to do this sketch, I had to be economical with my mark making, recording only the most important details in view. The haste of my sketch gives the impression of motion and moving forward.
Back in November 2018, acclaimed landscape artist Paul Kenton set himself the challenge of completing a whole year of daily painting. Painting en plein-air [outdoors] on travels to various cities, landscapes and coastlines, his creativity and connection with the world around him flourished.
