Likely inspired by the oil paintings of 19th and 20th century French artist Odilon Redon, who made over thirty depicting the God of Light Apollo being driven by his horses, this incredible original painting also draws inspiration from the abstract work of Spanish artist Joan Miró. Miró, who now has an entire museum dedicated to his work in Barcelona, was famous for his unconventional painting methods and subjects during the 1930s which has been captured here by world-famous art forger turned "Genuine Fakes" artist John Myatt.
