The artist responsible for this triumphant body of ‘posthumous Warhol’ silkscreens - as attributed by Rainer Crone, the man acknowledged to be the world’s foremost authority on Andy Warhol before his passing in 2016 - is Paul Stephenson.

Since acquiring a collection of Warhol’s original acetates in 2010, Stephenson has become an acolyte of the late great artist, emulating his methods, sourcing the very same materials he used, working with Warhol’s trusted screen printer and taking his steer from asking himself just one thing: ‘What would Andy do?’

No one, but no one, can bring the story of After Warhol to life better than Paul himself. From his exceptional subject knowledge, to the many memorable anecdotes about people he’s met along the way, his is a tale that has to be heard from the man himself.
