He then transfers the coloured pencil sketch onto a canvas, using the grid method to ensure the composition is exactly right, before beginning an intensive painting process.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHe uses a careful layering technique, with each painting including five or six layers of paint. He then adds tiny dots to the trees and flowers to give them life.
