Yesterday’s Flowers
Johnny Depp’s 2026 collection of hand-signed, limited-edition artworks, Yesterday’s Flowers, captures the beauty of the lived moment. Pure celebrations of colour and atmospheric light, the blooms are Depp's most universal expressions of human connection. His signature mark-making and expressive treatment of the blooms reveals an artist revelling in the process of art making. Boldly stylised and richly textured, the surface of these works is brimming with creative energy and emotional resonance.
Yesterday’s Flowers echo depictions of flora from throughout art history, serving not just as decorative elements, but as mines of deeper meaning. From Renaissance symbolism and the Vanitas still life, to Monet’s contemplative gardens and O’Keeffe’s powerful explorations of colour and form, flowers have long embodied the dichotomies of transience and permanence. Continuing this artistic tradition, Depp presents the flower motif as a symbol of family, loved ones and the vital resonance of memory, as an enduring emotional touchstone within an ever-changing world.

Tarot | 2024
Castle Fine Art is proud to announce Johnny Depp’s 2024 collection, Tarot. As an artist, Johnny Depp depicts captivating figures from his life, dreams and subconscious mind. In this collection, he has created four tarot-inspired artworks: ‘The Lovers’, ‘The Emperor’, ‘The Empress’ and ‘Strength’. While referencing the ancient deck, they are imbued with his own characters and narratives, and imagined in a uniquely symbolic style.
This collection, which follows on from The Bunnyman series, draws on tarot’s intriguing iconography. ‘The Emperor’ and ‘The Empress’ for instance, are both major arcana cards in traditional decks, reflected in the artist’s own regal interpretations of them as crowned rulers, while ‘The Lovers’, typically found nude, have been dressed in elegant formal wear. Another twist depicted by Depp for ‘Strength’, is the exchange of the lion for an elephant, symbolic to Depp for its intrinsic qualities.

The Bunnyman Genesis | 2023
After his hugely successful Friends & Heroes and Five releases of portraits, Johnny Depp has continued to delve deeper into the self, and his subconscious, in his latest series of limited edition works, The Bunnyman Genesis.
Infused with a celestial undertone, this fantastical series of mixed media screen prints overlaid with gold detail is rooted in childhood memories. Some years ago, Depp saw a sketch of a figure by his son, who’d been unsettled by a nightmare in which he’d appeared. The figure reminded the artist that, decades before, he’d also experienced recurring dreams involving this character. “That dream kept coming to me. I had it a lot and that’s sort of what The Bunnyman became, that figure in the dream”.
Father and son were connected by this shared night-time vision, and Depp saw it as more comforting than haunting.
“There he was a benevolent creature, like he was there to warn me in my dream.”
Like all great urban legends or dark fairytales, the myth of The Bunnyman evolved over time and through countless retellings, to take on supernatural elements, existing at a doorway between reality and imagination. Depp perceives him as a powerful guardian and symbol of strength. “The Bunnyman is something that I feel very close to”.

Friends & Heroes II | 2023
The first pieces from his Friends & Heroes collection, released in July 2022, sold out in hours and there was so much interest in Johnny’s art debut that interest from collectors around the world crashed our website!
“I didn’t believe it, it didn’t make sense to me,” said Johnny about his triumph in a video interview with Castle Fine Art which you can see further down this page. “I’m obviously really touched that people wanted to look a little further outside of my day job as it were, investigating some of the imagery that interests me.
“I was very touched by that, especially as when you’re trying to give a personal touch to something, sparkles that you saw in their eyes, very simple little things. Hopefully it bought those friends and heroes of mine out in a way that I see them and the same with the second volume of Friends & Heroes”.
The iconic figures in this new collection are actors Heath Ledger and River Phoenix, musician Bob Marley and writer Hunter S Thompson, all of whom were either friends of Johnny, or an inspiration to him, thus adding a real emotional weight to the pieces. Working from photographic references, each image was stripped back to a simpler and iconic portrayal of the subject, which Johnny then developed and energised with his characteristic freehand flourishes.

Friends & Heroes: Debut Collection | 2022
For Johnny Depp there has always been art. Before acting, and before music, art has always been an important outlet for his creativity. While his acting repertoire is the foundation for his fame, the recent reception to his music with Jeff Beck has encouraged him, and emboldened him, to share his art.
Johnny Depp's debut collection Friends & Heroes is now officially sold out. This world-first release proved to be our fastest-selling collection to date, selling out in just hours.
Johnny Depp's collection Friends & Heroes saw him focus on people he has known well, and who have inspired him as a person. Each image is an intimate reflection of their character in Johnny's eyes; a portrayal of how they have revealed themselves to him. From his dear friend Keith Richards, who inspired the mannerisms of the infamous Captain Jack Sparrow, to Bob Dylan, whose creative influence on the artist is seen in his vivid and immortal portrayal by Johnny.
“I’ve always used art to express my feelings and to reflect on those who matter most to me, like my family, friends and people I admire. My paintings surround my life, but I kept them to myself and limited myself. No one should ever limit themselves.” - Johnny Depp

For Depp, there has always been art. Before acting, and before music, art has always been an important outlet for his creativity. With his sketchbook as a permanent fixture in his hand, Depp is constantly sketching or visually conceptualising the world around him. His mind rejects the ordinary, challenges the accepted and oscillates between the pictorial and the lyrical, giving rise to his own multi-layered expressionistic style.
