Eden in Manchester | 2018

Inspired by the ethereal nature of women, Emma Grzonkowski fuses reality with fantasy for her stunning new collection, Eden. The original paintings were showcased at our Manchester gallery in December 2018, with our artspace transformed into a floral Utopia! The body of work takes its title from the Garden of Eden. From irises to dahlias and gardenias, the figurative artist explores the symbolism of flowers and their historical legacy with a noticeably broader colour palette and bolder energy inspired by the hip-hop genre and artists like Alphonse Mucha and Frida Kahlo. Emma explains: "The garden relates to the idea of creation and a fresh start, which is represented in the collection's narrative undertones. My figures are frozen in an existential, dreamlike state. It's about seeing into the future and laying the past to rest."

Through her provocative artworks, Emma fuses colour with themes of love, anger and female empowerment. Her art caught the attention of music giants Spotify, with whom she collaborated for 'Who We Be Live' in 2017.

30 years of fantastic art

In 1995, we opened our first-ever gallery in Stratford-upon-Avon. With just one goal in mind - to make our art accessible to all - our fledgling company began to spread its roots.

Craftsmanship and Quality

Every piece of art is mounted, glazed or framed by hand, with our bespoke framing service selected by our creative department.

Built to last

Our foundations are built on a passion for art, and many of our staff (and collectors!) have been with us from the very beginning.
