Your World, Our Art | Artist Feature

Our art would be nothing without our collectors. Without you, it’s just a pretty picture – the story behind your decision and the way our art makes you feel makes it unique to your home.

This month, we're running a very special takeover and want you to invite us in and show us your Alfie Bowen artworks. Alfie will be choosing and announcing the winner at the end of November, so please submit your entry by Thursday 25th November.

Whether you’ve opted for a limited edition print or an original artwork, we'd love to see it. Send us a photograph of how you've styled your piece within your home to or via social media by tagging @castlegalleries and hashtagging #YourWorldOurArt

How to take the perfect photograph

Whether it's your first or tenth purchase, there's nothing we love more than seeing our artists' work taking pride of place in collectors' homes. To help us see your artwork in all its glory, here are some tips on taking your photograph.

Make sure you take the picture from far enough back that we're able to see how you've styled it within your home. We love how no two people style the same piece in the same way, making the artwork truly unique to the room.

Lighting is key in ensuring we see every detail of your artwork. Natural daylight or just turning your ceiling light on should help us clearly see your photo.

Lastly, make sure to tell us all about your piece and why it's special to you! Nothing makes us happier than hearing from our collectors about what drew them to a particular piece, and why it resonates so strongly with them.
