During lockdown, we've seen more of you than ever visit our website to discover our latest releases, create accounts and subscribe to our emails. Our online community of art collectors is growing, and we're keeping things digital with the latest issue of our Fine Art Collector magazine.
This shoppable issue features updates from the art world, plus videos, home décor tips, interviews with artists like Alfie Bowen and Emma-Leone Palmer, behind-the-scenes studio tours, and of course new art. Simply click on the images to be taken straight to the piece, and feel free to share with your friends and family for birthday or anniversary inspiration!
With our galleries in England and Wales now open, you can experience the best of both worlds. Visit us in-store to see our art in person, or speak to our friendly art consultants about how to add to your collection.
We explore the living art trend, which incorporates real-life plants and foliage to bring nature into a living or office space. If you're not green-fingered, don't worry! You can put your own spin on this botanical trend with an original floral artwork by Stephen Simpson, or a mixed media creation by Raphael Mazzucco, who encases dried flowers and leaves in resin.
Throughout the magazine, we've styled our art within different interior designs to help you visualise how it would look in your own home. So whether you're looking to update a reading nook, create a central focus above a sofa, or modernise your dining space, we can help you to build your perfect look. If you'd like to speak to an art consultant, get in touch.
Our regular feature takes you behind the scenes and into the studios of your favourite artists. As exceptional times call for change, for this issue we've selected not one but four of our artists: Pascale Taurua, Scarlett Raven, the Bisaillon Brothers and Jon Jones.
This transatlantic edition visits Pascale's coastal studio in southwestern France, Michael and Jeffrey Bisaillon's sprawling New York art space, and, a little closer to home, Scarlett and Jon's English garden studios.
We also meet their (very fluffy) studio assistants: Louise, a tiny Bichon Maltese with a penchant for leaving paint footprints; and Dalí, a 12-year-old labrador named after the Spanish Surrealist painter.
A worldwide pandemic hasn't stopped groundbreaking breakthroughs and discoveries in the art world. In this digestible snapshot, we explore some of the most exciting news updates so far this year.
One of our favourite stories is the discovery of a hidden message in the Norwegian painter Edvard Munch's infamous 'The Scream' artwork. What does it say? You'll have to read our article to find out! Plus we examine the rise of art-creating robots, cryptocurrency, 'cancel culture' and how galleries like the V&A and the Guggenheim Museum are making art accessible for all through their innovative experiences for visually-impaired visitors.
