Bob Barker’s Northern Impressionism collection is an intimate insight into the life of one of the UK’s best-loved artists. From climbing lampposts to revving his motorcycle as a teenager, Bob's touching memories are captured through both his expert use of light and shadow and scenes of romance and childlike fearlessness.
In an exciting first, the Bradford-based painter also experimented with a circular composition to create a new perspective and challenge himself as an artist.
After his popular exhibition at Leeds City Museum in 2017, Bob will be returning to the city to present his new works at our gallery in the County Arcade.
An exclusive boutique will also be unveiled, which depicts Leeds City Hall. To find out more or attend the event, RSVP below.
"You cannot put specifics on love; it is indefinable. It’s an indefinable romance, story and feeling…you just know."
20/01/2017The nostalgic painter revealed his signature 'Northern Impressionism' style for an original artwork exhibition, including 30 oil paintings, charcoal drawings and sketches.
