Stefan Marner

Born: Plymouth
Education: University of East Anglia

Humorous artist Stefan is inspired by toys, Lego, babies and animals. His cartoon-like paintings are designed to make people smile.

After leaving school at 15 with no qualifications, Stefan travelled up and down the country with his single-parent mother. He was accepted to study for a degree in graphic design at the University of East Anglia but left due to the 'soulless' nature of the course.

Over the years, Stefan continued to sell his artworks both privately and in galleries. He eventually met his wife, who loved his work and encouraged him to approach our publisher, Washington Green.

"She got her way and I haven't looked back since!" Stefan jokes.
