Following a 10-year break, Clare picked up a paintbrush again in 2017. Her delicate floral pieces are inspired by Japanese and Chinese art.
When she’s not growing orchids at her home in Kent, she’s busy exploring Britain’s countryside and bluebell woods. The artist experiments with a range of mediums, including wire wool and squeegees, intertwining her expansive knowledge of art history with innate emotion.
Clare says: “It is so important to portray the delicateness and detail of a flower. They warrant time, care and devotion to show them off to their best.”
