Taken from Stuart’s Lost Lives//Split Personalities collection, this multilayered artwork fuses his musical inspirations with a desire to reveal the many sides of the individual behind their artform.
This piece depicts George Harrison from the legendary English rock band The Beatles. References include the yellow submarine, which symbolises the musician’s free spirit and creativity, and a halo, which represents the ‘saintly’ side of his character.
Stuart says: “George Harrison’s songwriting had an incredible beauty and depth. As a band member, he wrote some of the most memorable songs ever. Progressive and spiritual, his work will live forever.”
