The British artist mixes all of his colours (including black) from the three basic primary colours of red, yellow, and blue, and this meticulous process means each painting can take up to three months to complete. This particular piece sees Stephen use his bold and unique style to portray an adorable sausage dog waiting for you, the viewer, to throw his toys. Contrasting accents of blue and yellow fill the ears and eyes which adds a unique dimension to a seemingly natural colour palette.
