In this issue Magneto tears apart a stolen shuttle containing a group of mutants and brings them on board Asteroid M. The X-Men are meanwhile testing the base’s defences, with Wolverine and Psylocke able to breach them. Cyclops, Iceman, Beast, Marvel Girl, Storm, Rogue and Archangel also make an appearance! It is a tetraptych cover, formerly comprising a four-page gatefold. To date, this issue has sold over 8 million copies.
