This original mixed media artwork by the Bisaillon Brothers was inspired by the cover of Life Magazine from April 1952. Heavily featuring Marilyn Monroe, the cover also featured alleged flying saucer sightings. The brothers interpreted this as testament to Marilyn's 'out of this world' beauty and created this artwork 'Interplanetary', which embodies sleek modern art and design as well as their iconic Pop Collection.
Epitomising the their interest in mid-20th century pop culture and 21st century technology, the Pop Collection sees the brothers combine their techniques and philosophies in a vibrant mosaic of time. While Jeffrey abstractly applies vibrant acrylic paint, Michael designs a unique trinary code for each piece.
The bright colours of the original artwork combine with its serene resin texture to add a vibrant and modern splash to any home.
