The grandson of world famous French Impressionist artist Camille Pissarro, Hugues Claude Pissarro has worked through a range of styles including avant-garde in the 1980s but here, he has emulated the beautiful landscapes of his grandfather.
First exhibiting at the young age of 14 in Paris, Pissarro frequently returned to his birthplace in Neuilly-sur-Seine with his father to capture its beautiful landscapes then, later, was commissioned to paint the portrait of U.S. President Dwight Eisenhower in 1959.
